Which tendon? My posterior tibialis tendon ruptured. Waited 24 years to have it fixed… by that time it had to be fused. Hind foot fusion. Two long screws and a washer. Muscle in calf had also retracted so that was lengthened and a repair to the ligament on the outside of my ankle. Mine was very successful!!

1 ReactionWow! That sounds like quite a surgery! I’m glad it was successful. I ruptured my peroneal longus tendon in August of last year. I will have surgery to repair it on February 3.
