I’ve been reading the comments about MAC. I recently got diagnosed 11/2025 with NSCLC stage 2A grade 3 EGFR mutation. I had a LUL 12/9, had complication 6 weeks later, thoracic duct leak, my chemo got delayed 2 weeks. My question is my initial CT scan before diagnosis showed a 6mm GGO on same upper left lung but no mention of it on surgery pathology, just my primary tumor, I scared the missed it or didn’t test it and could this be MAC? Also, my chemo is delayed I’m now on 7ish weeks post and I can’t help but think this is spreading or popping up elsewhere. Anyone else with this stage or mutation and had to wait several weeks to start treatment? I’m just so anxious and scared.

@amareese I'm not a doctor, but I don't think it's likely that you have multifocal disease. and the good thing is the surgery you had removed that lobe. what type of NSCLC do you have - adenocarcinoma, squamous cell? have you let your care team know how anxious you feel about the delay starting your chemo? hugs!
