Skin that is painful to the touch

When you say you have skin painful to the touch do you mean light touch? My skin doesn’t hurt, but underneath the skin. If I press down with slight pressure, it’s sore underneath…..similar to if there was a bruise there. It’s like that in various places. And, sometimes a painful muscle knot too.

Yes. No pain unless touched and even a light touch. Yes the pain is underneath my skin but not just in certain places it was everywhere. It felt like if you were rubbing an overworked muscle.

@celia16 Dear Celia, It feel exactly as you described. The lower part of my legs, halfway between my knees and ankles looks red (as though it is sunburnt) and if I touch the area it feels as though it is bruised. It was mentioned by a doctor that took care of me at Urgent Care for another reason that I have Sjogren's and Lupus so they are connective tissue diseases and that was probably related to the authimmune diseases. It was not a detailed diagnosis.
