I have had skin painful to the touch since I was in my 40ties. I am 82 now. My doctor's said its connective tissue disease. I have Sjogren's and Lupus. Recently I have been using Black Castor Oil on my skin that hurts. It is an anti-inflammatory and works well. The only downside is that it can feel sticky so can feel annoying but it relieves the pain. I buy Black Castor Oil on Amazon. Good luck.

OK well I have also been diagnosed with Sjogren's and connective tissue disease. This seemed to have been some type of a flare because it only lasted three days. The oil may not be an option for me since it is my whole body. I would have to bath in it. LOL Thank you for your response.

@dianedonohue I recently bought regular castor oil (I didn’t know about the black but am trying to avoid Amazon and was able to get the regular at Walmart) and found directions on Pinterest on how to use wraps on different parts of my body for multiple health problems. I haven’t had the chance to start yet but the information referenced castor oil being used before ‘real’ medicines existed and for everything, so it is good to hear that it’s working for you! I really need to start using it.
