Anyone deal with this years after radiation to the larynx?

Hello @sharonlee
I did not find anything on Connect about this is head and neck cancer, only a couple on prostate. It sounds like radiation is used to address this. I wonder if that is true if someone has already had radiation to the area? Perhaps someone with experience with this will chime in.
Are you having symptoms or was this discovered on routine monitoring scans? What is your medical team suggesting for treatment?

Plenty of symptoms, but still trying to find out what's causing. Many years past. Neurologist suggested. Thank you for the reply.

@sharonlee, as you likely already know perineural spread is the extension of tumor cells along nerve sheaths, which can occur far from the original tumor. Where was the perineural spread found in your case? What treatment has your oncologist suggested?
