For me it was constipation. To offset that, I used Citrucel .
ED in 40% of men who take it. About the same for its cousin PreGabalin. Other than that I have no SE from either one.
I was taking 3200 mg of gabapentin a day for almost 3 years and it impacted my memory severely. I’m trying to wean myself off and for my first time I’m finally flying into the Mayo Clinic to meet with a competent neurosurgeon. Vanderbilt’s operated twice Chattanooga is operated once and all I have is an auxiliary nerve that is compressed in my shoulder and nobody can seem to get it fixed. January 28, 2026. I am praying for a miracle when I get up to Phoenix to see the doctor for the first time from Dayton Tennessee.

1 ReactionI'm not able to take Gabapentin, as it makes my limbs swell and I feel ill.
I have been taking 600 mg of Gabapentin before I go to bed for the past 18 mos. and have noticed no side effects.

1 ReactionI'm taking 3600mg a day and could have some side effects, but it's hard to tell what's causing what since I take 9 different prescriptions for several issues.
