So is it helpful to use vagifem (estradiol) ?
Seems to be a conflict, but I'm not sure. I have bladder incontinence, I do twice daily Keigle (sp?) exercises, but it seems to be getting worse. I hike with a group, so it can be inconvenient and even embarrassing. Help!

@greengold I certainly don’t have all the answers about incontinence. Is some of it DNA? Don’t know. I just know that I’m entering my 13th year doing gentle yoga which includes a lot of core exercise, balance exercise and Kegle exercises and, so far, I am not incontinent. My friends that don’t do yoga are. I may become incontinent tomorrow. But, I have noticed that a lot of the class has the same exercises recommended for incontinance and core strengthening.

@greengold

using estrace (estradiol) twice a week, it helps a little but the game changer is botox injected into the bladder by a urogynecologist. Covered by Medicare. First one lasted five months, then got another one. Not painful. You are numbed up beforehand, and you don’t feel the numbing. My urogynegologist office also gave me a handout of a few bladder retraining exercises. Aazing what our mind can do. Nothing huge or difficult. You may want to check this out!
