tkdesign, with these Forteo pens you can't adjust the dose. You could press the plunger slowly and withdraw the pen before it reaches the stop or if you withdraw the needle quickly you will lose a few drops. But you can't get a controlled lower dose.
Forteo is 20 mcg compared to Tumlos's 80 mcg.
I wonder what the rise in blood pressure indicates. With both Tymlos and Forteo a blood pressure drop is usual. Was the increase within the 4 hour after injection period, or post 4 hour.
An allergic reaction to the preservative in Tymlos might explain your reaction. You won't be exposed to the phenol with Forteo.
I really hope Forteo proves comfortable for you.

@gently someone said you can take Forteo every other day, if it won’t let you control the dosage easily…
