Hi. I just joined the group because I saw your message and wanted to comment. I will be 76 next month. I was diagnosed with lupus and Sjogren's Disease in May of 2025, after many years of moderate suffering thinking I had just fibromyalgia. It was quite a shock, but not a surprise, if that makes sense. So the other day when I saw my wonderful rheumatologist she recommended I do HRT, which I have never done because I had seen years ago all the fright news about it causing cancer. She told me that has been proven to be not true, and that you can start HRT any time. She told me about a couple of her older patients who started taking it with positive results, and that one of them is a "new woman" now. So on Friday I called and left a message for the Nurse Practitioner I have been seeing, that I would like to talk with her about it. I really want to do it. What I am doing now, and why I found your message query, is online research about HRT for older women. I see your post is a couple of months old, and I am wondering if you did start HRT, and if so, how is it going for you?

@mizbev73 , OMG! That’s incredible! Can you PM me the name of the medical facility that doctor works at?

What were your symptoms that lead to Lupus and Sjogrens?
