So, after months of tests and biopsies I finally got a dx of kappa light chain LPL. My only symptoms have been a distal neuropathy in my lower legs.
Just started Rituximab and Bendamustine. Tolerated well. 4 to 6 monthly cycles anticipated. Hopefully light chains will return to normal and neuropathy will clear though this is uncertain.

@jerry48 Welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect! I am glad you found us, and will be able to read from others how they manage their same condition. Although I do not have LPL, I do have multiple myeloma, and know that the support here is awesome!

Be gentle on yourself, and come back to let us know how you are doing.

Hi and nice to e-meet you. It’s so good to hear that you have a diagnosis and treatment plan. Wishing you all the best with BR.
LPL is so weird! My Lambda light chain is off the charts, opposite your Kappa situation.
Are you being treated at Mayo?
I have a local oncologist in Kansas and go back/forth to Mayo-Rochester (6 hour drive), as necessary.

We are a small group, I hope we can be in touch to compare notes and provide support.
