You should try taking an antihistamine and inhaling some steam.
Just saw my ENT regarding swollen sinus (Surgery related). I take Zyrtec 10mg 1/day, NeilMed Sinus Rinse with Budesonide (for inflammation) 2x/day, and added Augmentin (antibiotic) due to signs of inflection in sinus for 14 days. Being winter (snowing) where I live, air is dry (24% inside 55% outside), I supplement with Ocean spray (Nasal Moisturizing Spray) as needed. Looking for humidifier. ENT mentioned 40% is good and 50% would be great.
Seeing an ENT and having a camera into the sinus shows a lot. No pain and very cool view of sinuses.

24% too low.- 40 %good. Get humidifier or put containers of water around or fill a tub.
