@smarter For me, i have an Apple watch and really value that i have the emergency alert, as well as ability to answer phone calls and send texts!
Some elderly don't want to wear a watch, or forget to put it on, or charge it, so i didn't mention it before.
We have “find friends” set up with my sons so they can see where we are if/when needed. Came in handy 5 years ago when i got in a car accident and husband was out of the country. He called my son, said “find mom on find friends and go there”.
But i still think my kids will put a camera at my house 🙂 And I'm okay with that.

@triciaot you're right on with wearing a watch, charging et al. We have a couple cameras in our house and Mom has seen them in action. I tried to serve up how they might be an option but she wasn't comfortable with them yet. I think it will change if she gets some help in the house. I'm going to mention having some assistance soon to her. The Apple Watch sounds like a good idea for my wife. There's several people we know who wear them.
