Terrible pain when sneezing
Had gallbladder surgery late Nov and everything seemed t be fine but for the last 3 weeks have had a pain lower right abdomen that wraps around to back.....Not sure if related to gallbladder.....The pain is mild until i cough or sneeze.....Sneezing is the worst.
Today i sneezed and the pain was so bad my legs buckled and now it hurts terrible with sitting and standing being the worst.
Could i have torn a stomach muscle not full healed from surgery?
Any idea's?
Thank you

@d69 This kind of pain should be brought directly to your doctors. Gall bladder pain, including after surgery, is typically mid-line near the sternum, and this is where the incisions are that need to heal.

2 ReactionsSurgery was Nov 22nd,,,,Its right at bottom of rib cage on right side....It now hurts to the touch.
I completely healed from gallbladder surgery?....Or maybe i didn't but the pain started about 3 weeks ago.
Got a hold of gallbladder doc and he don't think its related.....Looking like a ER trip which i hate.
I am med sensitive on painkillers and every time they try a different med marked do not give on my chart, I have bad reactions.
Morphine was the last when i had the gallstones....It closed my airway and needed epinephrine.
Needless to say i have ER anxiety so fingers crossed.
Thank you

2 Reactions@da69 Do you have a primary care doctor?
It sounds to me more like you have something else going on. That could well be connected to your Surgery. Like may have you turned or fell and tore somthing loose. With what you are describing the pain is all in the area of you surgery. I won't suggest anything Because if the pain has anything to do with your surgery, you need to see a doctor pain killers only or prolong the heeling process and Anything you take could do you more harm than good. I suggest you contant your primary care doctor if you have one and talk to him. You might call a health food store and see if they have a natural pain killer that could help you or if they can refer you with a natural Herb doctor in your are that can help. Remember Natural cures are a cue and take some times weeks before you see and feel improvement. as for feeling in three mo. I had open heart surgery in 2007 I had healed and two months ago I tore a stich loose. We never know after a surgery uou now have a week spot. So to be on the safe side and get it checked out. then you can form a plan of action. Good Luck and I wish you the best friend I'll keep you in my prayers.
