Tagrisso side effect - eye twitches? Does anyone have this?

After diagnosis of stage 3a lung cancer in January 2024, metastatic in 4 lymph nodes and 4 rounds of chemo, I was put on 80mg of Tagrisso in June 2024. Have had nearly all of the side effects that continue to cycle through continuously. 9 months into tagrisso I developed an eye twitch that goes all day everyday (I don't notice at night when I'm sleeping), I have had the twitch now for 7 months and it is only in my left eye. The optometrist has checked my eyes, I do have a cataract growing on the back of my left lens but they do not think the twitch is from that. I have a brain MRI every 3 months, all clear in there (actually they found my brain so that is good news :))

Was wondering if anyone else has developed a twitch? It is annoying just like when you get the hiccups and can't get rid of them.

Sorry that you're having this annoying side effect with an eye twitch. Not painful, but bothersome nonetheless.

I've been on Tagrisso for nearly a year - with the usual side effects of diarrhea, brittle nails, a full body rash (which thankfully has eased with a reduction in dosage from 80mg to 40mg) and a alternatively drippy or super dry nose. No eye twitches .... yet.

Wishing you clear MRIs and scans and strength for this mighty battle we are all fighting.
