Survey of Diverticulitis Patients in this Group- What Stage are we in?

For Diverticulitis patients in this group, I'm curious what stages we are in on average. To keep it simple we'll stage it as follows:

1) Uncomplicated episode diagnosed 1+ times but not...
2) Complicated episode* diagnosed 1+ times (*Phlegmon, Abscess, Perforation, Fistula or Stricture) but not...
3) Hospitalized 1+ times but not...
4) Decided to do Surgery but not...
5) Already had Surgery

@ajica Best of luck with recovery. So you were a 1 who skipped 2 and 3, then a 4 and now you're a 5. I have surgery in 2 days after 10-12 episodes. I've done a lot of research recently that I wish I'd have done years ago - I would have had surgery after my 3rd or 4th episode, or at the most after my 5th or 6th.

Stage 5. Necessary surgery done 1 year ago this week at Mayo since my sigmoid colon was incarcerated in a large abdominal wall hernia. Still a work in progress.
