Want to add that there is a wide range of ages for peri menopause or menopause to begin.
I am 77 now but was 38 when my periods stopped. No symptoms.
So exploration of this possibility is important.

I saw my gynecologist last week for an annual exam and mentioned what has been going on. She said the birth control should prevent symptoms of menopause and the recommendation is to continue birth control until age 50ish, then discontinue and check to see if you are menopausal at that time. Of course some of that may depend on a woman’s need for contraception (my husband had a vasectomy). But I don’t want to stop the birth control and have even worse symptoms! So kind of wanting to hear others experiences.
