Starting Efexor XL encouragement please

Hi everyone,
Two weeks ago I started taking Efexor immediate release, then last week my doctor switched me to Efexor prolonged release. It's been 5 days since I have been taking the new one.
I don't have rough side effects, just a but tired physically and my mood is pretty low - lower that it initially was (I'm taking Efexor for moderately severe depression).
I could use with some encouragement as it's been difficult feeling this low. Does it get better?
I'm seeing my doctor again on the 6th of January and they might increase it to 150 mg.

2nd day on 150mg no side effects and slept fairly decent!

I had some wonderful dreams while taking Effexor. I traveled to foreign lands and met many people. However, after some time - maybe a couple of years, I started sleepwalking and fixing food, leaving the refrigerator door open, etc. It scared me that I might start driving. I miss the dreams. I wish you well.

@silmil93 that is great news. I have been on Effexor for several years and have found it helpful especially for anxiety and definitely depression too.
