I (72 yo male) have suffered 2 years trying to find out what is wrong. Have seen 3 cardiologists (regular, EP, and autonomia specialist), and a neurologist. Takes 6-8 months to see one, then 4 months to get a test done, then sent to different specialist. Had to insist on a heart monitor which showed SVT, and other events. My active life has drastically changed. My symptoms Aline with SVT and syncope. Any advice is most welcome.

@leer50 I am so sorry that you are struggling to get a diagnosis and treatment. It is scary to feel your heart doing things that don’t feel right. Any treatment for the SVT or other issues that showed up on your heart monitor? The first couple of afib events I had happened at night, but I didn’t have a clue what was going on. I bought myself a smart watch with ECG feature not thinking that it would come in handy but it did. During the third event, I captured the episode with an ECG several times and took that to my PCP. Continue to advocate for yourself.
