@aubreybill this article does not make me feel better especially since the Anastrozole I’m taking will contribute to osteoporosis mentioned at the end of the article.

@junej - agree - seems every cancer treatment also has a dark side. I am worried about the same. My oncologist suggested Zometa infusion every 6 months as preventative to cancer metastasis, also has bone loss prevention. There of course are some side effects with this one also. The thing I was very interested in the article however they talked about immunity and getting the T-cells/cancer killer cells strengthen. Believe this is the key to our health/recovery - optimistic about Anktiva/BioShield for immunity - working for other cancers and hopeful will start studies for Breast Cancers.

Car T cells are a hopeful avenue for certain cancers. The cost is usually over $100,00 a year.( Hopefully covered by insurance)

Concern about recurrence is stressful and worrisome. and may provoke anxiety. Medical centers and hospitals may offer Fear of Recurrence. Support groups and usually offer MSW, Ph.D. and possibly MD cognitive behavioral therapy that may be helpful.

Several options relating to Stress guided imagery are offered FREE on You Tube.
