Straightening Cannulas Tips
Does anyone have some tips on getting the Cannula tubing straight?
The way I have been doing it is that my wife holds one end, and I pull on the other end as hard as i can for a few seconds. Just wondering how someone who is alone does it.
It's the "Cannulas" that I'm asking about, not the other tubing.
I use the Salter Labs "16 SOFT-4" on my home concentrator, E-Tank, and Inogen G5 and change them once per week.

I put it in the dryer for a short time just to where it warms up. It will be straight.
Yes, putting it in a lingerie or net bag in dryer at low heat for a few minutes will strainer tubing or cannulas.
so you discard a used cannula after only one week? Or are you just switching them out after cleaning them?
Well, I learned a new trick. I put the bag that has the cannula in it into the microwave for 1 minute and took it out and opened the bag and then a little stretch on the cannula and it comes out nice and straight.

My Cannula bends where it connects to the valve all of the time. Any way to prevent this?
I bought some of these, plus there are other types of these also.
