Lasix worked well for hubby along with compression socks. Be careful though because Lasix can deplete your potassium. Had to put hubby on a supplement too.

The triamterene in Dyazide is supposed to prevent potassium depletion.
My lower legs weren't the puffy kind of swelling. They feel hard to the touch and the left one has the typical brown discoloration.
