Testicular Contusion or Infection?

Posted by mysterywhiteboy @mysterywhiteboy, 1 day ago

About a week ago I applied pressure to my perineum and lower scrotum area along the urethra to expel semen usually remaining several minutes after having an orgasm. If I don’t do this, it eventually leaks out and makes a mess in my underwear.

While applying this pressure there was a moment where I felt a sharp pain in my left testicle that shot up into my left side abdomen similar to when you get kicked in this area. I of course immediately stopped. I took it easy afterwards while still feeling some discomfort (nothing significant like a torsion), but about 2-3 days later I foolishly drove long distance for about 8 hours, which really aggravated things. Since then I continue to have pain in my left testicle and occasional waves of radiating pain up into my lower left abdomen despite rest and avoiding any further pressure in this area. I get some mild discomfort while I urinate, but color and clarity seem normal.

I have also developed lower back pain and tingling radiating down my left leg. I’m guessing this is related to me sitting flatter on my back instead of upright to avoid pressure on my testicles. But of course I made the mistake of reading Dr. Google and finding that one symptom of late stage testicular cancer is low back pain.

I have an appointment with my urologist on 1/23 but can’t wait that long and trying not to worry while I wait. I’ll likely go to urgent care or my GP first to see what they can do to help. In the interim, does anyone have thoughts into what I may have done to cause these symptoms (esp. the testicular pain)? I was thinking possibly a contusion but I’m having trouble seeing how mild pressure could cause that. Maybe I’ve caused an infection somehow. I know the urologist will be my best solution but hoping to gain any insight in the meanwhile if anyone has gone through a similar situation.

I should add that certain areas of my left testicle have been tender to touch and thought possibly epididymitis. But there’s no swelling, redness, or lump in the area.

@newrochelle1131 I think he is saying that when he has issues with his private parts, he goes to a urologist.

This is a bit off topic, but I would like to ask commenters here on Men's health if anyone has experienced low or nonexistent libido as they got older. Such is the case with me. I had my testosterone levels checked...all is good. I have tried peering at ladies in, well, let's say minimal clothing to see if I could develop any kind of turn on. Not really. Have any of you found a way to recover some of that lost libido? Thanks.
