@chrispie I had cataract surgery on both eyes in January 2025. Since both surgeries, I have blurry vision and floaters. I was told my eyes are dry so I have been treating them with drops, gels, compresses, IPL, steam, etc. I have decided to have my lenses replaced as the Vivity lens I have can cause issues with glare and halos for some people. I will be having the surgery in a couple weeks and I am flying to have it done by a doctor who is experienced with exchanging the Vivity lens. I plan to have the basic lens put in--I am a diabetic and I have read that it is best for diabetics. I will deal with the floaters later. I was told by one doctor that it is because the new lens is clear and I am able to see them now. Another doctor told me it may have been caused by the cataract surgery. I have seen 4 doctors for opinions after the initial surgeries and the exchange doctor will be the 5th.

@juliemra
Is it safe to have a replacement lens as opposed to a piggy back lens.
I have a similar dry eye problem which has been exasperated since having my cataracts removed

@juliemra Will you share where you are going for your Exchange surgery? I understand that it is difficult if you have waited a year.
