Unbelievable burning in feet and legs
Have had neuropathy for around seven years and my feet and legs are causing me so much pain especially at night . I have tried all the different medicines that Dr prescribe. Nothing is working. I am soaking my feet in cold water at night which helps me get a few hours of sleep.

2 ReactionsPraying you can get help with diet, exercise,maybe supplements. My addiction to coffee/ caffenne which irrates nerves as progressed my PDN to advanced prematurely. Also gabapentin helped almost 100% but had to increase until Dr recommended pregablin which in conjuntion with other meds and my age 76 is causing multiple side effects. Check Beers list criteria by geriatric assn. I have 3 meds listed "caution" and " avoid" its for those over 65yrs Pain drugs do not improve or slow dying nerves.

2 ReactionsSorry to hear about your pain. Sucks all around. Hey the one thing that I do to settle down my feet is I use the Rebuilder Tens like device. On my second one after 5 years. Not a cure but I use with warm or cold water in depending on time of year. I use it every day usually at night. It calms my feet down. Nothing else works outside of Gabapentin.
You may be able to find used. It may take a little time to adjust but that’s all I know that works for me. Tried everything as most have.

1 ReactionThe Dr put me on gabapentin small dose at night and it has helped. No burning in feet and legs. I will get a shot in my back next week and hope it will help with some of the pain that goes down my legs to my an ankles. I am hoping 2026 will be better.

may be worth asking Dr if consistent dose of Gabapentin would help. I find if I skip a dose (by mistake) it takes a long time to calm down. I have RX for 300 mg 3X a day. Works so much better than one dose at night. May be a reason for your RX I would ask. Can’t hurt
Sorry to hear of your pain. I have found that Nervive with the ALA is helpful and allows me to have a pain free night of sleep. All the best.
