@sandyrob So you stayed on 20mg, the usual dose? I found that 10 mg made my joints just too achy, at 76. So am trying 5 mg. now, which my doc says won't do me any good, & that doseage is still being studied in trials. I'm not sure I agree with her; I have lots of hot flashes on 5 mg.

@jardinera25 Search/ Look up TAM-01 study. It is not appropriate for everyone. Needs to be an early non aggressive cancer with wide clear margins after lumpectomy tissue sample, and ER positive

@jardinera25 Yes, I stayed on 20mg and am supposed to stay on it til Sept 2026. As I am 78, not sure if my aches and pains are related to Tamoxifen or "normal aging".
