I have never seen posts by anyone, and have no personal experience, with pain that could be linked to AF. The anxiety is something else, it can induce breathlessness, make you feel faint or agitated and you want to pace up and down the hallway...but never pain. What I would suspect is that, with a heart not beating very well, it might bring on temporary angina because the heart's own blood supply, carrying oxygen, is impeded in one or more important coronary arteries. So, I would put this to a cardiologist who will listen and believe that you experience pain.
