Just saw that someone looked at this message, so update is that I stayed on Tamoxifen and currently take it without any known side effects. Since I'm 78, aches and memory is a thing anyway. My last visit will be in April.

@sandyrob So you stayed on 20mg, the usual dose? I found that 10 mg made my joints just too achy, at 76. So am trying 5 mg. now, which my doc says won't do me any good, & that doseage is still being studied in trials. I'm not sure I agree with her; I have lots of hot flashes on 5 mg.
