I understand that. $100 is still a lot of money but I did not want to start 24 months of TYMLOS and not know if I was improving. My worst fear was
TYMLOS would not work for me and waiting for the next DEXA Scan would have cost me more bone loss. But, like I said, since the doctor ordered it, insurance covered it. Ask your doctor or let him know you are uncomfortable starting any treatment without testing first.

You have to feel confident in what treatment you choose.
