Hysteroscopy scheduled at Mayo in 4 wks. On Zepbound for weight
I'm 61 and postmenopausal. I have recently been having intermittent lower abdominal pain and intermittent discharge that is sometimes brown, but last night was light pink. Transvaginal ultrasound was done mid-Nov., and shows:
Endometrial Thickness: 7 mm
Cervix: Fluid visualized within the cervical canal. There is a complex structure with fluid fluid level in the region of cervix measuring 3 cm x 2.4 cm x 3 cm.
I have a hysteroscopy scheduled at Mayo, which is 8 hours away, so I want to make sure everything goes as smoothly as possible.
I am on Zepbound, so I called to ask whether I need to stop it prior to my visit. I was told I would not be under anesthesia for the procedure, but I have read that sometimes people are. I also want to be prepared if they need to put me under while I am there. How long do results take at Mayo? Does anyone out there have advice for me?

@colleenyoung not really. When I called, they told me I wouldn't be under anesthesia for the procedure. But I was really asking more if it would be possible while I'm there. Anyway I'm going to stop 10 days prior just like I did for a recent colonoscopy.
My transvaginal report was almost a repeat of yours only I am 91 and gynecologist said "I'm not going to sugar coat this, it is possible you have uterine cancer. Biopsy attempt was impossible so hystoroscopy scheduled in three weeks. I have menstural like belly pain so heating pad has become my best friend. Can't wait to get rid of the pain. New to this forum so don't know if you'll see this. Good luck.
