This is a great question. Does your provider think it is caused by osteoporosis? I scanned the topics in the Menopause group and did not see a specific discussion on the subject, though it might be in various comments.

Can I suggest you start a new discussion in the Menopause group on this subject?
Maybe with title: Can HRT therapy help with hip pain?

Connect members with hip pain who take HRT for that reason may be able to provide some advice.

@roch I am on HRT partly due to wrist and hand inflammation. I rub a 1.25mg Estradiol gel behind my knees, on my wrists, hands and sides of my torso. Yes, it helps. I was not absorbing the .100 mg patch well. I am 49 y/o and recently put into surgical menopause.
