I am well past menopause but I have had painful hips for a long time and now i am finding that low estrogen may be the culprit . No doctor has suggested that low estrogen could cause this? Has anyone received HRT for this and has it worked for pain?

@altaff

This is a great question. Does your provider think it is caused by osteoporosis? I scanned the topics in the Menopause group and did not see a specific discussion on the subject, though it might be in various comments.

Can I suggest you start a new discussion in the Menopause group on this subject?
Maybe with title: Can HRT therapy help with hip pain?

Connect members with hip pain who take HRT for that reason may be able to provide some advice.
