Globus sensation: Anyone else have a lump feeling in their throat?

I have it for about 6 weeks now. It coincided with my doctor telling me, that I have elevated PSA levels and need to have my prostate checked. I went for my MRI yesterday and don't know the results as of yet. Does anyone think or have experience with Globus being caused by anxiety? In my case that would mean anxiety due to the fear of having prostate cancer. Thank you

@gis58 I’m experiencingglobus right now and anxiety may have made it worse. I’m taking an anti-anxiety med which helps a lot.
