@xahnegrey40 Thank you. It went as well as it possibly could have. My retina had fully reattached in just 2 days, I aced the eye chart with my injured eye (which had been almost 50% obscured), I got the laser surgery, and I have only 5 more days of positioning restrictions (relaxed from before so that they won't put the same strain on my hip and spinal fusion).
I'll be able to have a normal Christmas Eve and Christmas with my family, which is so important to me after spending Christmas 2021 alone in a hospital bed on a floor under COVID lockdown.
