My goto bands are LZ, Pink Floyd, Rush, Steely Dan.
I enjoy listening to all music eras.
Especially early 60's to early 80's.
Music heals bodies and saves souls.
Remembering a deeply moving moment…the orchestra was assembled, waiting for the chorus to walk in and begin the ‘Messiah’…the church lights dimmed and the chorus slowly marched in, very softly singing a spiritual as they held lit candles… very gradually their singing reached a mighty crescendo…..after a brief pause, we began Handel’s great oratorio…we all were filled with very deep emotion and poured it into our performance, very special shared feelings…
One more…when I need a good cry-release, I play a recording of Bruch’s Violin Concerto, especially with Milstein, a record given to me by family. Also his Scottish Fantasy with Heifetz— it can fill one with wonderful emotions. Enjoy, my friends !
