What if attempts to increase WBC fail?

My wife's WBC was extremely low after her last round of chemo. They stopped chemo and injected her with something to to help increase her WBC. She is going in this morning to see if her WBC has come back. What is the next step if the WBC is still too low for chemotherapy to resume?

They probably gave her a Neulasta shot. That usually brings everything back in order after several days.

@gamaryanne I think it was Neulasta. And it worked well. They restarted her chemo and she is getting her pump off today. Thank you.
