@pineyb thank you for enlightening me to this information. I wondered about taking Ferrous Gluconate 324mg. only 3 days a week. It seems like a large dose. This makes sense as to the effects of Iron on the blood. My ferritin level was 3.5, which is way below normal. I was feeling extreme fatigue. Since I have been taking it, I have had more energy. But I will bring it up and see what the plan is for keeping me on it. Yikes. ! Leene

As I understand things, we are all likely to have different responses to different treatments for these blood disorders. It’s not one size fits all. The important thing is that everyone involved on your treatment team is communicating with each other to get the best results for you. Sometimes we have to oversee the coordination ourselves.
