I purchased the Marodyne LIV platform in Feb 2023. I haven't used it as much as I thought. It's in perfect condition with case, etc. If anyone is interested in purchasing it for a reasonable price, please reply. I live in Canada.
It would be nice to hear some follow ups of the whole body vibration machine by Marodyne, LIV. Anyone?
@blueberre I have been using the Marodyne LIV consistantly since purchase in April.
I did extensive research on these platforms before purchase. Maraget Martins website has good infomartion for its use for both for osteo and sarcopenia and balance.. I recommend you read it.
It is a supplement to a bone building program that includes diet, stress reduction, posture improivement and medication if needed. I had mutiple foot fractures so my mobility- ability to walk and eexcercise was limited - the LIV is fills in a huge place in my protocal. I plan on using it the rest of my life. I am 71 and healthy and in good condition except for the osteo. When I go on vacation , I bring it along.
If I was fully active and could sufficiently weight bear, i dont know if I would need it - we are all different and all respond differently. This is good product if it is right for you. Many blessings ( PS the LIV is a not a cure all. Osteo is a multifaceted diease with differentr cause for different people and all issues need to be worked on to find your path to healing. I send postive energy for you to find your way to restore strenght and balance)

2 Reactions@dmshope thank you, especially for the positive energy! I am still a bit hesitant. Have you increased your bone density since having the LIV?
@blueberre I will have a coritcal scan of me feet next Feb and a dexa in April. ALso I started Evenity at the same time as I started the LIV. So whatever the results, I will be unable to definitely say it was one thing or another - but I do know all things contribute to our progress -But sorry I do not have an scinetific results to share. MMartin would have some of this scientific literature.
I recommend you reveiw with a person knowledgable with your situation, the LIV and osteo. Margaret Martin does zoom consults if you prefer to go that route. She is a caring and a dear person. I understand being hestant - thats why you need more info to make an informed decision. Healing light to you!
Any updates from people who have purchased the Marodyne plates. I was too hasty in purchasing one. I did not realize the differences. Ended up with the larger red model. I have yet to use it, as I need my son to help me move it. I think the vibration is more than I anticipated. I am stuck with it now, but a bit afraid to use it.

1 Reaction@blueberre I didn't know there was more than one model. I have the plate you stand on and love it. I use it at least once a day (usually in the morning) and sometimes twice. Everytime my daughter comes over she uses it too.

2 ReactionsThere is only one Marodyne LIV product. PowerPlate has a number of different versions/sizes for home and clinic use.
Becky Chambers has a Whole Body Vibration line called "BC Vibrant Health" (not to be confused with the supplement company of nearly the same name).
I bought the Ultimate Vibe which has plate amplitude options low (LIV) of 0.1 – 0.5 mm and high of 1.0 – 1.5 mm. It has frequency setting variance from 15 to 40 Hz. It is reasonably priced for a true vertical displacement machine, currently on sale for $ 530.
Disclaimer: No, I am in no way associated with the company. I read research papers and watched many videos. I then contacted a medical office and they suggested this brand when I said the PP was too expensive for me. Simply to passing along to others what I concluded for my own needs, but you should read & research.
My Ultimate Vibe machine is working fine daily since September, using at 30 to 40 vibrations/sec on High amplitude setting. That range can help with osteoporosis according to what I have read. I will never know if this WBV does help me because I am doing many interventions at the same time.

1 Reaction@kfhoz Whole Body Vibration device from Becky Chambers on sale for 4th of July holiday.

I own this WBV model, and you can see more of my comments on it on this discussion thread. It is best to do lots of your own research on WBV as there are particulars of amplitude, frequency, motion, and contraindications that matter. This model was suggested to me by a medical office when I told them that the highly advertised brand was too pricey. I have been using it on my non-gym days since Sep 2025.
No, I am in no way affiliated, this is just a FYI as it does not go on sale often.
