@medtech4 , I'm so sorry to hear that, but glad that you are seeing an oncologist this week and that you have the support of your husband. I'm assuming that he, or someone, will go to the appointment with you? It's never easy to take in all of the information, and it takes time to digest the diagnosis. @denzie's link to the list of questions is a good start. Please let us know how the appointment goes.

@lls8000 I will. Thanks for the list of questions. I am just devastated. I never thought I would be a victim of lung cancer. No one in my family had it and I stopped smoking nearly 36 years ago after smoking for about 15 years. Usually, smokers are still smoking or quit within the last few years. My husband will accompany to that first visit.
