Is Fibromyalgia a progressive disease ?

Hi @haarvee and @covidstinks2023 ,
I’ve had ME/CFS for 40 years and developed severe axonal Polyneuropathy about 15 years ago. (Also have Hashimoto’s, POTS, and other stuff. )

When I first got ME/CFS following an Epstein Barr virus infection, I was bedridden for several years. I improved to about 70% for quite a few years (but still couldn’t work outside the home). However, in the last 5 years I’ve steadily gone downhill and am home bound and spend most of the day in bed. I’m using a wheelchair now to go out.
The neuropathy and ME/CFS are both definitely progressing as I’ve aged. (In my 70’s now)

Trying to keep a positive attitude, finding humor in things , and lots of prayer is what keeps me from completely losing my mind. 😆🤣

@db72 I have meditated for approximately 70,000 hours in the last 30 years (it's about 6 hours per day). I'm practically a guru by now ... yet still somehow, just a flawed human being. I had my first symptom at age 36, and I've had it for 33 years. Humor is good.

@db72 I find it interesting that a lot of people with Fibromyalgia have recently had Epstein Barr
Virus (Mono) OR have had it in their life time at some point. I had a bad case of it in Junior High.

Prayers & Blessings to you....
