@danab Okay, gotcha. I can see that, as with your particular case, you needed the pacemaker to restore normal rate which happened to be much too high in your case. It's counterintuitive that it would force your ventricular rate even faster than what it was, but if that resets the rate, good!

@gloaming Mine also had a built in de-fibulator so when pacing did not work it resorted to giving me a electrical shock. similar to the external types with the paddles. so I always liked that it had the easier option. I never enjoyed the shocks but i saw it as my own personal EMT in my chest when necessary.
