I live in and around conservation and preserves community.

I and my do get a joy from seeing deer out and walking around. They don't fear us and look at us like what is that strange living thing.

Some times deer jump my back fence and walk around my yard.

We also have tribes (and I mean tribes of up to a dozen turkeys) of turkeys that walk around everywhere. Somehow they have learned to walk on the sidewalks and grass areas and not on roads. But like pedestrians we all stop and let them cross.

I love watching birds also. They love to get into my my trees.
