Has anyone found anything that helps with tinnitus in long covid?

Has anyone found anything that helps with tinnitus in long covid? Tinnitis started this past week. I’ve found very limited knowledge in the medical resources where I live on any long covid issues. High pitched sound in ears/head.

I have searched for treatment but the only person who helped me is an osteopath. She worked with my central nervous system and reduced the high frequency ringing significantly.
However, it got worse during the New York marathon which was incredibly loud! I have an appointment with her again in a few days. Hopefully, it will help. Good luck with this problem that I and others never anticipated.

If you find out, please connect. I’ve been drowning in tinnitus since my last Covid episode. Thanks.

You REALLY shouldn't be running that marathon in your condition!

It's being recommended I see an ENT for tinnitus AND for hearing loss AND for excessive mucus after eating, all which occurred after I was sick for 10 days w/ COVID in March 2023. I want someone who sees me holistically not in pieces and parts for each part and then the recommendations do not coincide. (Case in point: podiatrist said cortisone cream for peeling heels; PCP said not daily even tho' it gets worse "just that fast".)

Do they all get referral 'points' or dollars for the many to whom we are referred?

Does everyone (other than me!) w/ Long COVID have easy time off and transportation? < -- yes that was snarky. I'm so tired of all the attempted coordination of this.

The 'parts' are flags of where there might be an issue.Try to keep an open mind about all this.Lots of DR's don't want to be involved in treating long covid. The web's full of slicksters and cons.I'm having to do my own research and observations of my reactions and such,my overall feelings. The one dr I always advise anyone here is Dr Paul Anderson. He's got a VAST amount to experience with ALL these issues. He's my go to online(his videos).God Bless and be good to yourself...

I fight my tinnitus with other sound—tv, music, podcasts are always on, often at a low volume just to drown out the ringing. Tv at very low volume is the only way I can sleep or the tinnitus gives me nightmares!

I feel doomed. I wish they would find a remedy.

There is not one remedy because COVID affects everyone differently.

What are your symptoms?
