I live in England and here we call GERD GORD. I suppose us English spell things differently!. I have tried the ppi and proton pump inhibitors with no success as I am intolerant to them. I have been told by my gastroenterologist to take gaviscon. I am still having a terrible smell in my nostrils and now I have a sore throat which makes things worse. The fibromyalgia is obviously making me oversensitive. I am also really tired...and of course in worse pain than usual...

Sorry about that . My d. lives in Wales. She fills me in about some things but not that one. I do not bend over for at least an hour after I eat or I get the burn.
Sounds like you are getting a cold as well as everything else.
