Toe/foot twitching 5 years non stop

Posted by vintagemeow @vintagemeow, Dec 2, 2025

Hi all. I have had constant toe twitching in my four small toes for the last 5 years. It has been non stop since it started, some times less twitching but some times it gets really irritated. At other times I can also see my arch and heel twitch/pulsate. I’ve had an EMG and it was normal. I am concerned something is being missed and I have compression from a tumor or something along those lines. Any insight would be much appreciated.

My feet have twitched doe years and now my little toe also. I also get twitches everywhere and was diagnosed with benign fasciculation syndrome by 2 neurologists. What did your doctors tell you it was ?

@poisongal your twitching moves around? Do you ever feel tingling sensations too? Mine is only on my foot. I was told it could be painful legs and moving toes which I suppose makes sense. I’m going to see a highly rated neuro in a few months so hopefully they can help.

@vintagemeow yes it moves around. I wouldn’t stress too much. I’ve had this for years and am told it’s benign. Good luck!
