exactly the same situation last test my hip femoral was finally in the osteoporosis category - 2.9 i'd been in osteopenia all the other times yet stranglely the doctor had immediately said - this while I was still below 2.5 , that Evenity "would be a lovely drug for you." LOVELY? She apparently never read the black box warning.

I'm a little worried because my life has been such that I haven't been able to exercise all the time - among other things broke a toe running into something in AUgust, don't think it was osteoporosis related but it kept me from working out for a month - plus lots of stress which I know isn't great for it either.

I'm ready to get those two tests , CTX and the one w the P, just so I can see what's going on before doing the test.

@sl303 I think they removed the black box warning. After years of additional studies, according to my rheumatologist, they have found that the incidence of osteosarcoma is not greater in the group taking Evenity than the general population. I was on Forteo for two years and had great improvement in my spine, but not my hips. I'm now on Evenity to see if I can get hip improvement. I just hate the side effects of ALL the osteoporosis medications!!!
