@clachow - welcome to Mayo Clinic Connect. Sorry to hear that every time you and your daughter see a doctor, you get more confused and not clarified. How frustrating.

I believe you mean she has cough variant asthma and vocal chord dysfunction? If so, which doctor or doctors diagnosed those conditions for her? Does her primary care doctor have a suggestion for how to arise at an integrated treatment plan?

@lisalucier She was hospitalized for 7 days in the ICU and an ENT came in and saw that one side of vocal cord did not close properly. She goes to speech to learn breathing techniques.
