Time given over to worrying about cancer is time you can never get back. It became easier for me to cope with when I realized that the cancer is going to do what the cancer is going to do. I can't control it but I can control my response to it.

That's where meditation helps. It doesn't have to be a major, sit quiet, chant a mantra-type meditation. There are some short, easy meditations you can find on YouTube for free. Being in the moment, escaping the 'scary what ifs' will keep you grounded and help compartmentalize the fear.

This is a great time to take up a new hobby or perfect a skill. You have cancer. Cancer does not have you. You are not your cancer. Focus on living your best possible life.

@denzie they got it all. I don’t have it anymore I’m just petrified of scans and additional nodules on these scans.
