@shivey Wow, yes it makes all the difference having doctor that is more experienced. When my Retina began detaching, I had surgery right away at Kelloge Eye Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan. They did not have any laser type surgery then. When you are close up, you can see the cut on my eye where they went in and reattached the retina. My Doctor was, Dr. Cox. At that time everyone was saying what a great job he did. He later began traveling with Doctor's without boarders, and doing eye surgery world wide. I never had to wear glasses. I had great eye sight until I got older, then I have only had to use dollar store glasses at 125 strength. Saw a good Retina doctor every year for quite some time, until he retired and went into research. I was not careful enough when I chose to go to a clinic!
