To be candid, there aren't any ways to shrink an aneurysm. There is/are weak spot(s) in the ascending aorta that allows the artery to bulge. If it gets to a certain point, it has to be repaired or it fails. Been there done that. I am also dealing with an aortic aneurysm in the remaining ascending aorta between the dacron graft and aortic arch. The native part is around 4.6cm as off 28Aug2025.

@rlhix I tend to agree with this- in order to shrink, the lining of the aorta would need to regenerate and return to the strength and texture that it was before the aneurysm developed. I don’t think our systems are designed for that.
