@alsaidi04 do you take BP meds too? If you do, ask about stopping the BP or lowering them since metoprolol does the same thing. You might try half the BP med dose especially if the pill is scored. Or get doc to write lower dose script. Metoprolol does more than lower blood pressure. My blood pressure with both runs anywhere from 110/60 to 130/80. If the bottom number is over 90 or 95 for for long I'll take a blood pressure pill. If I'm lying down because I feel bad, a sign of low blood pressure, I take it and it'll be 60/100. I start doing leg lifts or any kind of exercise to get blood pressure up. It works. Every time. I take 2 metoprolol daily but you might ask about taking just 1 too. You see a cardiologist right? Have had all the necessary tests? Heart cath, Echocardiogram? Worn a Holter Monitor? There's another monitor you wear for a month too but I can't think of it.
